Have you ever wondered what the 3 letters on your luggage tag represent? The 3 letters represent an airport. Each international airport is assigned a 3 letter-code by the International Air Transport Association (IATA). Some airport codes are very easy to identify. For example, PBI is Palm Beach International, LHR is London Heathrow, HKG is Hong Kong International, FRA is Frankfurt International Airport. However, some of them are very hard to guess.
